Veronica Karas is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional who has been in the finance industry for over a decade. She works with HNW & UHNW women, couples, and families with complex financial planning needs. In addition to her CFP® designation, Veronica also has an MBA and a Life & Health license. In her spare time, Veronica spends time with her husband, son, and three rescue pets in Port Washington, NY. She enjoys educating youth around the tri-state area in all areas of financial literacy and mentoring others as a Transformational Life Coach. Veronica is the current co-president of the CAPTRUST Community Foundation. 

I am a husband and father of two incredible children ages 12 and 4!

After family, I am incredibly passionate about the financial planning profession and always striving to grow and learn more. In addition, I strive to educate the retirement community about all things retirement through my podcast Retired·ish.

I am all about making decisions in life that will allow me to spend as much time as possible with my family and allow me to take part in the little hobbies I have outside of financial planning and tax research (weightlifting, biking, golf, and music).

Mike Zung, CFP® is the founder of Java Wealth Planning. He has a long background in the software industry and now focuses on helping tech employees navigate equity compensation and live a life that aligns with their values. He is also passionate about financial literacy and has created a YouTube channel to provide free informational content.

Tiffany is the Vice President of Financial Planning at Halter Ferguson Financial, Inc. She has a degree in Economics from DePauw University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Tiffany joined the firm in May of 2007. She has been working in the finance industry since 2003. She has been a financial advisor and a member of the Financial Planning Association since 2012. Tiffany enjoys working closely with the firm’s clients and assisting them in achieving their personal financial goals and dreams through deeply personal finances.

Riley is a Wealth Planner and CPA at InvestorDNA. He has a background in public accounting and in building Canadian financial planning software. Riley obtained the Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Management degree from the Dhillon School of Business. Riley loves taking the 'chaos' out of financial planning and creating 'order'. He is a father of three and enjoys going on family adventures; hiking, running, camping, snowboarding and more.

John is the President and a Senior Financial Planner at Mason & Associates. He graduated from Virginia Tech’s financial planning program in 2010 and obtained his CFP in 2012. Upon graduation John joined his family firm, Mason & Associates. In the last 14 years John helped Mason & Associates transition from 100% commission based firm to a Fee Only RIA. In addition to financial planning, John enjoys public speaking in a variety of formats. He was an integral part of the firms Ask the Expert Radio Show as a co-host with Michael Mason. Mason & Associates started the Federal Employee Financial Planning Podcast in 2022 and the firm’s YouTube Channel in 2023. John presented at the following events: FPA Central Virginia Annual forum 2024, Kitces Value Summit 2023, Financial Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads 2023, and XYPN Live 2022 and 2023. John was a guest on the Financial Advisor Success podcast, a guest on The Perfect RIA podcast and has been featured on Kitces.com.
